SASE held its first ever National Collegiate Conference Call on April 5th to provide students with the opportunity to update the National Board members with the great work that has gone on and to connect student leaders with each other. The call was a great success and the Board members were impressed with all of the effort that has gone on and encourages each school to continue to come up with new and creative ways to provide useful and relevant programs for APA’s on campus.
Some examples of recent campus activity:
- OSU – James Sun Event – Chapter raised over $6000 to bring in James Sun, highly successful entrepreneur and finalist on the Apprentice
- Cornell – Dinner with the Professors event – highly successful event to connect students with key professors on campus in an informal setting.
- UT – “Who Moved My Cheese” event with P&G to discuss how to deal with change in one’s life.
- UC – Upcoming recruiting/info night with GE APA recruiters
- MIT – Great kickoff meeting with Eric Liu, Director of P&G Gillette R&D, on APA’s in the Workforce and upcoming meeting with SASE Co-Founder Tom Fernandez on Leadership.
Keep up the great work everyone!
